As in recent years, Cancun remains the #1 destination, as it’s got everything a college student would want on spring break: gorgeous beaches and water, a range of all-inclusive resorts, a great nightlife scene, and it’s easy to get to as many major airports offer flights to the Mexican city.

Most spring breakers tend to book rooms in the legendary Oasis Cancun, which has more than 1,500 rooms, the biggest pool in the city, and a packed entertainment schedule. The hotel’s known to be a party resort, with lots of students flocking there and enjoying their pool swim-up bars, their several bars and a nightclub, and the DJs and contests hosted by the resort during the day. Other spring breakers enjoy the Gran Caribe in Cancun as it’s a bit more upscale but still offers a range of delicious food, a nice pool, and bars and music, too.

The nightlife is well-known in Cancun, with lots of popular clubs including The City, Dady ‘O, Mandala, Mandala Beach, CoCo Bongo, and more. The City is known as the top club for spring breakers as Dos Equis often sponsors huge foam parties where over 2,500 people can attend as the place is a giant, multiple-floor, stadium-style kind of club. Additionally, big artists like Tiesto, the Chainsmokers, and Diplo have headlined at parties there in recent years. Of course, the other clubs in the area are great too, depending on what sort of club experience you’re looking for, and over spring break, you can hit them all.

Besides Cancun, Punta Cana is also a top-selling destination as it’s got 21 miles of beautiful white sand beaches, and lots of resorts and nightlife, too. Hotels like Barcelo Punta Cana and Occidental Punta Cana are great places for spring breakers to stay as they offer lots of activities and fun on the property so students don’t have to go far. Unless those students want to check out local nightclubs like Oro, Coco Bongo, and Imagine, which are all cool clubs with awesome music and parties at each one.

Other destinations that are rising in popularity are Puerto Vallarta and Puerto Plata, which also have all-inclusive resorts and popular clubs, bars, and beaches.

STS Travel vacation packages are tailored specifically for college students on spring break, with staff onsite from beginning to end. Each spring break package includes round-trip airfare, hotel transfers, hotel accommodations, and a complete schedule of daily activities, in addition to information about optional extra excursions.

If you’re planning to travel with a group of friends, not to worry — STS can handle any party from two to 500 since they’ve got large room blocks at the top hotels.

So don’t wait — start planning your spring break vacation today so you have something to look forward to during the Fall semester!
